A paradigm shift is coming and you will not be able to escape it.
Back in the day when I was hacking around and using University computers to "command line" my way around the early net I came across the first web browser. I knew the world was going to change.
Went to work the next day all aglow with having seen the future and wanting to tell everybody about it. I got glazed looks and in short order, dismissal. It was hard for most to imagine what it eventually would become back then.
Now take what you know about how the Internet turned out and try to imagine sliding on virtual reality glasses. You will be immersed in a 3D world, a virtual world, where you can do and be anything you want.
Reality is never going to be the same. Just as the Internet has changed the way people think, VR will be bigger. Much bigger.
So where are we at with this? When is it coming? It's already here albeit via bulky headsets. But like the fledgling days of the Internet we have to reach a certain
point before we can look back one day and say "Oh yeah, this is when the world changed."
How likely is it that you will do VR? Inevitable, and it's coming faster than the Internet did. They even put Stephen Spielberg to work on a movie about it ease you in.

And check out people's reactions to the first generation of VR headsets. They are immersed in their virtual world. Imagine the future.
