A paradigm shift is coming and you will not be able to escape it.
Back in the day when I was hacking around and using University computers (unbeknownst to them, shhhh..) I came across the first web browser. I knew the world was going to change.
Went to work the next day at my job all aglow with having seen the future and wanting to tell everybody about it. I got glazed looks and in short order, dismissal. It's hard to imagine something without
Now take what you know about how the Internet turned out and try to imagine sliding on a virtual reality device. You will be immersed in a 3D world, a virtual world. One where you can do and be anything you want.
Reality is never going to be the same. Just as the Internet has changed the way people think, VR will be bigger. Much bigger.
So where are we at with this? When is it coming? It's already here. But like the fledgling days of the Internet we have to reach a certain
point before we can look back one day and say "Oh yeah, this is when everything changed."
How likely is is that you will do VR? Inevitable, and it'll happen much quicker than what it took the Internet to happen.
